In 1991 the Lord invoked Overseer Dr. Ella P. Hood to establish a ministry in Monroe, North Carolina. He instructed her that this ministry would have the foundation of faith, integrity, a spirit of excellence, healing and deliverance anointing and offering new life to the parishioners and visitors alike; hence the name New Life Community Temple of Faith, Inc.

The ministry is dedicated to answering the clarion call to win souls for Jesus Christ by exemplifying the love, grace and peace that only our Heavenly Father can bestow.

New Life Community Temple of Faith also own and operate New Life Broadcasting also known as WDEX Gospel 1430AM/100.1 FM and WADE Gospel 1340 AM/101.7 FM. These stations provide our listeners with the best variety of gospel music, ministries, and children programming.

New Life Community Temple of Faith in conjunction with New Life Broadcasting sponsor many events throughout the year, such as the annual, The Bridging of the Gap, Christmas toy giveaways, supporting other nonprofits to meet the needs of those within the community.
